Our Optometrist
Mr Chan Ka Ho (Paco) obtained his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Optometry with first class honour from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2011. He then stayed at the University and completed a two-year residency program specialised in paediatric and binocular vision. In these two years, he has seen a lot of kids and patients with strabismus and binocular dysfunctions and gained a lot of experience of solving their vision and other related problems.
He then furthered his studies and obtained his Master of Optometry from the University of New South Wales in 2015. After finishing the master degree, he continued to serve the community and applied all his knowledge and experience through practising in different private optometric centres.
In 2019, Paco wanted to expand the scope of practice of his family business and established Tai Kwong Eyecare Centre for continuing serving the community.
Paco has also actively participated in serving the optometry colleagues and promoting the roles of optometrists in Hong Kong by being the Councillor of the Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists. He is also the Visiting Clinical Associate in the School of Optometry of PolyU. After hours, he enjoyed most the moment with his family.
